IV THERAPY POST- CARE

Rest and Take It Easy
While most people feel energized after an IV hydration session, it’s best to take it easy for a few hours to allow your body to fully absorb the fluids and nutrients. If you feel any dizziness or lightheadedness immediately after the treatment, rest and drink more fluids. If you received IV hydration for recovery (e.g., after exercise or an illness), ensure you get plenty of rest so your body can fully benefit from the therapy.

Monitor the IV Site
Keep an eye on the area where the IV was administered for the next 24-48 hours. Some redness, minor swelling, or bruising can occur at the insertion site, which is typically normal and should resolve within a few days. If you notice significant swelling, increased pain, or signs of infection (redness, warmth, or pus), contact your healthcare provider.

Avoid Strenuous Exercise
For the first 24 hours after the treatment, avoid heavy physical activity or intense exercise that could strain your body or increase your risk of injury.

Balanced Diet
Eating a well-balanced diet, rich in fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins, will complement the hydration therapy and support your body’s recovery and energy levels.

Hydrate Continuously
After your IV hydration session, continue to drink water throughout the day to maintain optimal hydration levels.
